Welcome to the application portal for the California Climate Action Corps (CCAC) Fellowship and thank you for your interest in our program!
CCAC is an AmeriCorps service program and part of a California statewide initiative to address and mitigate the effects of climate change. This climate-focused workforce development program matches Fellows with organizations to mobilize community members to take direct climate action through education, volunteer mobilization, and assessment focused on urban greening, wildfire resiliency, and organic waste and edible food recovery. CCAC trains and supports Fellows throughout the program to emerge as climate and civic leaders, while helping organizations implement projects to advance climate action that engages community members, cultivates change, and leaves a lasting impact.
CCAC will begin accepting applications in May 2026 for the 2026-27 California Climate Action Corps Fellowship, which runs from September 15, 2026 – August 14, 2027. This general application allows applicants to select up to five preferred positions. All candidates must attend a mandatory information session after applying to advance in the process and be considered for interviews with our host partner organizations.
